Kate & Kiely Love
This week the Duchess of Cambridge was spotted in one of our favorite designers, Orla Kiely. While visiting a primary school in Oxford, the always chic Kate wore Orla Kiely’s wool jacquard “Birdie” coat dress. Kate perfectly complimented the walnut dress with monochromatic brown tights, suede booties and a matching clutch. If anyone thinks the ensemble was lacking in color, the playful pattern...

BEST DRESSED GOLDEN GLOBES
We were blown away by the beautiful gowns of the Golden Globes this year. Everyone looked stunning from their hair and makeup all the way down to their shoes. Angie was stunning in her pops of red, Clair Danes rocked the black and white backless dress, and Natalie Portman looked so elegant in her classic pink. These were our faves! Enjoy!

Classic dress with a twist. A heel in a fun color can brighten up any Fall outfit.

DESIGNER DIARIES: LISA SALZER
During a conversation revolving around our motto “Live Your Life in Detail”, we recognized an embedded yet invisible detail in our accessories: the designer. Whether intentional or not, when a product is designed, it holds a history of the hands that made it. The story behind the product is one of the many details we consider when planning our assortment. We realized this...

TO SEE: L'Amour Fou
During the previews before Woody Allen’s Midnight in Paris (which we also absolutely suggest seeing), a certain trailer caught our eye. L’Amour Fou is a doctumentary about the life of the late great Yves Saint Laurent as told by Pierre Berge. Needless to say we have added it to the LK summer cinema TO-SEE list.
For those of you gallivanting in Fort Worth this summer, The Modern...

CFDA Awards: Accessory Designer of the Year
It was only fitting that the award for Accessory Designer of the Year was presented by the fabulously accessorized Iris Apfel (Eccentric fashion icon who can be seen in the recently acclaimed documentary Bill Cunningham New York).
Alexander Wang tearfully accepted the award, saying “It’s such an honor … to even just have my name alongside names such as Marc’s is enough...

Regardless if you’re still experiencing snow storms, we’ve got the remedy to jump start your summer.
Our solution: a DIY mixture for tousled beach curls, easy to apply (and not to mention oh-so cheap) bright & glittery stick-on nail polish, an oversized printed scarf (can triple as either a dress or sarong), a revitalizing new scented candle, and freshly cut flowers. Simple...
ON OPRAH: Julia Roberts' Summer Favorites
We weren’t surprised when Julia Roberts picked Melinda Maria Jewelry and Theodora & Callum scarves as two of her summer favorites. The two designers not only embody sophisticated glamour, their world traveler ambiance seems to mirror a scene fresh off the set of Eat, Pray Love.
What we did find surprising was how well the two collections go together. Add a touch of Aztec gold and a...
