DESIGNER DIARIES: LISA SALZER
During a conversation revolving around our motto “Live Your Life in Detail”, we recognized an embedded yet invisible detail in our accessories: the designer. Whether intentional or not, when a product is designed, it holds a history of the hands that made it. The story behind the product is one of the many details we consider when planning our assortment. We realized this embedded detail was too important not to share and in that decision The Designer Diaries was conceived. When it came to deciding what designers to feature, Lisa Salzer was first on the list.
As the afternoon sun cascaded over stone-colored couches and endless antique drawers stuffed with vintage materials, the Lulu Frost showroom balanced between modern minimalist and bohemian luxe. Everything from the mahogany accents to the note-covered desks seemed to inspire and add to the ambiance of the collection. This is where we first met Lisa. With an innate style and exquisite comprehension of antique materials and styles, Lisa’s jewelry is reminiscent of a self-portrait; a physical depiction of her travels and interests. That being said, Lisa not only characterizes the type of designers we wish to illuminate, she exemplifies the reason that The Designer Diaries must be told! A big thanks to Lisa and Sandra!!
